The Backward Walk

I believe we are living in the end times when Satan will overcome the saints.  For 6-7 years after I first believed in Christ I loved our creator because He gave me salvation.  Then I was overcome by self doubt.  Our father in heaven gave me the backward walk revelation.  I doubted my own salvation but could not doubt our creator.  I decided to serve Him because He is good in spite of believing there is no hope for me.  I went from loving Him for what He did for me to loving Him for who He is — because He is good.
Perhaps I discovered one of 7 signatures/seals of God on his 2 sided marriage certificate in the Bible.  We are in a time when people go to and fro and knowledge is increased thousands of times more than any time in history (as it says in Daniel 12:4).  Daniel 12:4 is related to the seals in the Bible’s last book “Revelation”.
I hope the backward walk will begin to clarify more of the mystery of salvation and help many brethren in hard times when Satan overcomes the saints.

6 “You have heard; look at all this. And you, will you not declare it? I proclaim to you new things from this time, Even hidden things which you have not known. 7 “They are created now and not long ago; And before today you have not heard them, So that you will not say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’ 8 “You have not heard, you have not known. Even from long ago your ear has not been open, Because I knew that you would deal very treacherously; And you have been called a rebel from birth.  Isaiah 48

This existed for 2,000 years but no one has written about it till now.  It is now unsealed —

THE BACKWARD WALK
Forward Events

1) The Garden of Eden — Adam and Eve were judged by the tree “of knowledge of good and evil”.  Cherubims and a flaming sword (time?) which turned every way kept mankind from going back to eat of the tree of life.

2) The Flood  — It rained 40 days.  After a 40 day period a dove and raven were sent up from the ark.  The rainbow shows that we will not be judged by water again.

3) The Law — Israel was freed from Egypt and given the Law through Moses “Christ is the end of the law”

Backward Events

3) The Law
In the NT when Jesus was born his parents kept Torah law.  Before he was 2 they fled to Egypt to avoid death of their 1st born (Kept the law — then fled to Egypt)
a reverse of
In the OT Israel fled from Egypt after the death of Egypt’s first born.  Then they were given the law at Sinai. (Fled Egypt — then given the law)

2) The Flood
In the OT It rained 40 days. A dove and raven were sent up from Noah’s Ark after another 40 day period. (Rain 40 days — Dove and Raven go up)
In the NT Jesus was baptized by John. The spirit of God descended on Jesus like a dove.  He went into the wilderness 40 days.
The dove = the spirit God.
The raven = the spirit of Elijah.
The word translated “Raven” occurs 10 times in the Old Testament. I relate 3 of them to John through Elijah. Elijah was fed by ravens (1 Kings 17:6). Elijah was to turn the heart of the fathers to the children and visa versa (Malachi 4:6). The eye that mocks at his father and despises to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out (Proverbs 30:17). Jesus said that If you care to believe it John is the Elijah to come (Matthew 11:14).  Hence I believe John’s baptism has something to do with a raven.

[note 1 (scripture references outside the strict chronology of Moses to Adam):
Matthew 4:4, 7 & 10 is paralleled in reverse by Deuteronomy 8:3; 6:16 & 6:13

Matthew 4:4           Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.                                                                                                                                            Deuteronomy 8:3   Man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD …

Matthew 4:7                You shall not tempt the LORD thy God.
Deuteronomy 6:16   You shall not tempt the LORD thy God,

Matthew 4:10            Thou shalt worship the LORD thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Deuteronomy 6:13   Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

Note: The backward walk goes from before the giving the law of Moses in Exodus to the beginning of Genesis (Romans 5:14 “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses,” … ) and, I believe, into Revelations.  The above further evidence is outside the thread of the Gospel in reverse from Exodus to Genesis.  It’s in reverse but in Deuteronomy. I don’t know why yet but I wonder about it]

1) The Garden of Eden
It says in Deuteronomy 30:6  “The LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed to love the LORD your God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that you may live.”
We can be alive without a circumcised heart.  In order to “live” one must eat of the tree of life which is in the garden of Eden.

Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

The angel of death that passed over the Israeli homes on the Jewish holiday of Passover is, I believe, the Cherubim and sword guarding Eden.  I suspect the flaming sword going every way is also symbolic of time as you would have to go back in time to find Eden since it does not physically exist today to my knowledge.  Einstein showed the faster something goes the slower time gets.  It doesn’t matter what direction you go – “every way” (“like a flame”). Jesus takes us to the Eden of God.

The Last Supper
The last supper of Jesus was the Passover supper.  The angel of death passed over when it saw the blood of the lamb on their doorposts. (119 ministries disagrees but I don’t see how it could be otherwise)
On Passover Jesus and his disciples revisit the original scene in Eden in reverse. Jesus is the 2nd/last Adam The disciples are the bride of Christ. Judas “One of you is a devil” (Jesus said of Judas) — Adam, Eve and the devil (the serpent).
In the OT Eve gave to Adam to eat to forget our creator.
In the NT Jesus gave to his disciples eat in remembrance of him (a reversal —Adam giving to Eve to remember)

The Temptation
OT – Where were Adam and Eve before they ate? In a garden (Eden) being tempted.
NT – Where were Christ and the disciples after they ate? In a garden (Gethsemane) during their time of temptation.
note – Gethsemane was on or near the Mount of Olives. The olive tree to many is symbolic of the tree of life,  “I’ll live” or O’ live” may be carryover to English “olive”.

The Bride
OT Adam and Eve were naked and not ashamed before they ate of the tree.
NT Messiah was crucified naked and despised the shame of being hung on a tree.
Jesus went back before Eve was formed.
OT Adam was put into a deep sleep. His side was opened. A helps meet was made for him from his side.
NT Christ was put into a deep sleep, death. His side was opened. Water and blood came out. I believe the bride of Christ, his disciples, are his witnesses and “3 bear witness on earth —  the spirit, water and blood”.

The Alpha and Omega
The Beginning Meets The End
One must be born again.  In Christ, our creator takes us to heavenly places but there was a battle in heaven.  He takes us back to the beginning and where are we? At the end of the scripture. “Revelations” is the description of that battle.  In the beginning of Genesis and at the end of Revelation we have a new creation.  This is where the beginning meets the end.

Some more thoughts on the backward walk and other stuff

The backward ends around passover.  Joseph and Mary fleeing to Egypt to escape the death of their first born, Jesus’s early life began around the reverse of the original passover.  It begins and ends near passover.

Exodus 7:9  When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Show a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.  10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.  11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.  12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

Numbers 21:8   And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.  9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

The rod of Asclepius was a serpent entwined on a rod used as a symbol of healing in medicine in the US. It is usually replaced with the Caduceus which is a staff entwined with two serpents sometimes surmounted with wings which represents commerce.  Medicine is now an industry with money frequently overshadowing healing. That is not my point.

Shaman healers do something called “recapitulation” where they go over all the details of their past.  It’s a sort of backward walk.  Sigmund Freud gained credibility healing people of psychosomatic illness by bringing them back without reacting to the trauma that caused the illness. Shaman healers matrix is the earth. Freud brought people back to traumas in their mortal lives. Messiah’s matrix is beyond time and space. He brought us back to where Adam lost eternal life and beyond. Jesus’s rod swallows their rods.

I wrote at the end of the backward walk “Jesus takes us to heavenly places” &  “the beginning meets the end” at the end of the backward walk.  There was a battle in heaven written about in Revelations. Jesus fought it for us.

Exodus 7:13 And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
Pharaoh’s heart was hardened after Aaron’s rod ate his magician’s rods. This was the beginning of the plagues. God will soon cast down his rod of judgment on the god/gods of this earth. This is called The Great Tribulation by many. When you get to the beginning of the Bible going in reverse from Adam to Moses where do you go? The beginning meets the end in the book of Revelation, the last book (“whoever adds to this book…”) of the Bible. The seals  in revelation are being opened.  This will bring out each hardening of heart and plague set on the followers of the “god of this world”, Satan.  Satan has no mercy and will be destroyed without mercy.

If we married the law directly we would all be condemned to death (separation from the eternal life Adam lost in Eden and Jesus won back) by the requirements of the law.  Those who are joined to Messiah will have their sins paid for and their hearts cleansed made fit for eternal life by the blood of Jesus.  The rest will pay for their own sins.  They will be unfit for eternal life.

The Fig Tree And All The Other Trees
The fig tree relates to the “backwards walk”. The tree of knowledge of good and evil is symbolized by a fig – they covered themselves with fig leaves because none of the other trees would protect them any more .
Luke 21:29 “behold the fig tree, and all the other trees” I relate to the backward walk. Our father does not do the same thing twice.
He judged man with a tree and left a Cherubim and a sword.
He judged man by a flood and left a rainbow.
He judged the people of Israel by the law and left the law crucified in Messiah, not divorced from it but dead in the flesh and the elect married to Christ Jesus.
“all the other trees” — the law and the flood with the tree of knowledge of good and evil last.

I suppose you could look at it in many ways. Perhaps when you see it looking like the law is being reestablished, the temple rebuilt (symbolizing the law), and the polar caps are melting and the sea roaring (like in Isaiah 5:30 & Luke 21:25 ) threatening a worldwide flood destroying all life and the genetic code unraveled by doctors and scientists discovering how to live forever and overcome the restraints of sin without being free from sin look up for your salvation because Yahveh will not allow these trees to bear fruit. That is where I tend to go with it. That is why he cursed the fig tree before the time of figs.

This backward walk has remained hidden until now.   This revealing is part of the unsealing/signatures on our eternal uncreated father’s wedding contract between the saved and Messiah, our savior.

Someone else’s discovery related to the flood in the middle of my backward walk kind of like a fold —
There is a phenomenon in scripture many see as a literary device called chiasms. Here is one example —
A: Noah and his sons (Gen 6:10)
.B: All life on earth (6:13:a)
..C: Curse on earth (6:13:b)
…D: Flood announced (6:7)
….E: Ark (6:14-16)
…..F: All living creatures (6:17–20 )
……G: Food (6:21)
…….H: Animals in man’s hands (7:2–3)
……..I: Entering the Ark (7:13–16)
………J: Waters increase (7:17–20)
……….X: God remembers Noah (8:1)
………J: Waters decrease (8:13–14)
……..I’: Exiting the Ark (8:15–19)
…….H’: Animals (9:2,3)
……G’: Food (9:3,4)
…..F’: All living creatures (9:10a)
….E’: Ark (9:10b)
…D’:No flood in future (9:11)
..C’: Blessing on earth (9:12–17)
.B’: All life on earth (9:16)
A: Noah and his sons (9:18,19a)

Within this overall structure, there is a numerical mini-chiasm of 7s, 40s, and 150s:

Chiasm of the numbers 7, 40, and 150
α: Seven days waiting to enter Ark (7:4)
.β: Second mention of seven days waiting (7:10)
..γ: 40 days (7:17)
…δ: 150 days (7:24)
….χ: God remembers Noah (8:1)
…δ’: 150 days (8:3)
..γ’: 40 days (8:6)
.β’: Seven days waiting for dove (8:10)
α’: Second seven days waiting for dove (8:12)

Gordon J. Wenham, “The Coherence of the Flood Narrative” Vetus Testamentum 28 (1978) 336–348

Each separate known chiasms in the Bible may be considered the literary artistry of a single author or editor however The Backward Walk is the Gospel’s author(s) reflecting the Torah’s author(s).

  1. I think this is a helpful and insightful paradigm. Jesus “fulfills” the law, and I think that extends to a typological approach. There are also some prediction/fulfillment, but the major correspondence seems to be typology. Thanks for the thoughts!

    1. Do you any insight on the “prediction/fulfillment” you spoke of? Is any of it from or In the book of Revelation?

      1. As far as any prediction fulfillment I bring up the question about the prophecies in Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
I don’t believe it was already fulfilled because I believe the biggest increase in people going to and fro and knowledge increasing is today so I believe things like my backward walk may be tips of the iceberg of the book Daniel was speaking of.
Is that what you were referring to?

When I first noticed the backward walk and it being associated with the 5 books of Moses I was wondering if the book of Joshua had anything to do with Revelations. I started to look up all the meanings of the Hebrew words. I thought I was seeing a connection with the enemies of Israel in Joshua and the sins the Church was rebuked for in the first 3 chapters of Revelations. After making about 40 pages of notes on the first page of Joshua I felt overwhelmed and gave up on it. There is an interesting connection between the book of the Gospel of John and the book of Revelation in the John-Revelation project at Knox Seminary by Warren Austin Gage. http://web.archive.org/web/20031229092222/http://knoxseminary.org/prospective/Faculty/FacultyForum/JohnRevelationProject/index.html

There is a little more about the fulfillment of prophecy I was contemplating. A quick summery of it – I was thinking that God doesn’t do the same thing twice. When Jesus said about the fig tree and all the other trees -Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. Luke (Matthew 24:32-35, Mark 13:28-31, and Luke 21:29-33)
I was thinking the trees were related to the judgments Jesus walked in reverse through. The fig tree obviously the tree of knowledge of good and evil – the other trees being the flood and the law. I was thinking when it looks like the temple is going to be reestablished with the sacrificial system and the oceans are going to rise and flood from global warming and we are going to be able to unravel the gene code and “eat of the tree of life” so to speak, all without God, look up and know that the end is near because God won’t let it happen twice. I’ll try to find a more detailed teaching I wrote on it and e mail it to you. If I forget remind me. Thanks for the question Frederick.

          1. Hi Nathan,
I don’t have the 40 pages of notes (from almost 30 years ago).
You’d have to do a word study of all the names of Israel’s enemies in Joshua first page or so and compare it to sins in Revelation.

However the budding of the fig tree notes I have —

            Faith To Move Mountains
When I read about Jesus cursing the fig tree I knew there was more to it than being angry because he wanted to eat figs. Mark 11:13 said “for it was not the season of figs”. Why would he expect figs before the time of figs? Mathew 24:32 “Now from the fig tree learn her parable; when her branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near; 33 even so, you also, when you see all these things, know also that he (Or, it) is near, even at the doors.”
I knew it had to do with prophecy or revelation of truth, the testimony of Jesus being the spirit of prophecy.

Besides Rev 6 “the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood; 13 and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth” being related to Matthew 24:29 “the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light”, and “the stars shall fall from heaven”
Rev 6 “as a fig tree casts her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind.” and “every mountain and Island was moved out of their places” relates to “the fig tree which thou cursed is withered – Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea”…
He’s not giving a faith in faith healing teaching but speaking about something prophetic, a deeper spiritual truth.

He judged the people of Israel by the law and left the law crucified in Messiah, not divorced from it but dead in the flesh and the elect married to Christ Jesus. “all the other trees” could be the law and the flood with the tree of knowledge of good and evil last.

I suppose you could look at it in many ways. Perhaps when you see it looking like the law is being reestablished, the temple rebuilt (symbolizing the law), and the polar caps are melting and the sea roaring (like in Isaiah 5:30 & Luke 21:25 – may be symbolic and not literal) threatening a worldwide flood destroying all life and the genetic code unraveled by doctors and scientists discovering how to live forever and overcome the restraints of sin without being free from sin look up for your salvation because Yahveh will not allow these trees to bear fruit. That is where I tend to go with it. That is why he cursed the fig tree before the time of figs

Is this what you are looking for?

  2. Recently I have been going to my friend Linda’s church. They have a girl talk every other saturday…they discuss the bible, show videos and discuss the principles of Christ.
I have been given a bible and instructed to read the new testament.

We had a great discussion the other day. Thank you for your thoughts.

  3. Are you one who believes Christians of the N. Testament do not ever use the teachings of Jesus because they were seemingly ONLY for the JEWS??? How do you interpret Romans 2:28-29 that ALL in Christ are ” Jews in spirit” anyway; & Gal. 3:7 says “we ARE Abraham’s SEED”; 3:29 ” HEIRS [with him] according to the promise”.

    1. Most of Christianity are the same with Jesus today as most of Judaism was with him when he came. Christ came first to the Jews but not only. Some of the NT is easier to understand if you know the mindset of the time it was written.
I interpret Romans 2:28-29, Galatians 3:7 and 29 at face value in context with the rest of scripture.
      Roman’s 11:
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

      When I read Isaiah 19
22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
      and Zechariah 12
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
and 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
I don’t think the Church has replaced Israel and the Jews. Perhaps it may parallel things that happen in the Church but I believe God will save a remnant from Israel and Egypt and Assyria to fulfill those prophecies. As far as salvation is concerned I believe it is the same for all people – a remnant will be saved. Being part of Christianity doesn’t get you saved any more than being a part of Judaism.
Did that answer your questions Frederick?

    1. You are Gene’s cousin? Don’t believe everything he tells you. Only kidding. I try to answer all but I’m not online every day.

  4. Great answer!! But when you added the “fig tree” part I say you you went out on a limb. Notice when Jesus brings up the fig tree. It is after each of the last days chapters like matt 24 & mark 13 & luke 21. THEN IN REV 6:13 OF THE FIGS “FALLING”. Remember every time you read something or someone falling or being cast IT IS THIS ONE EVENT OF THE 1ST RES JUDGMENT. It’s the same as the devils tail; the Clusters of vine of earth in Rev 14:18 ETC. This fig tree is the church after the 2 WITNESSES & 144,000 GET HERE AND “START” TO GET FOOLED CHRISTIANS OUT OF FALSE DOCTRINE OF DENOMINATIONAL CHURCHES. THAT IS THE FIG TREE HE SPEAKS OF. NOTICE HE SAYS; “WHEN IT BEGINS TO SPROUT FORTH….”. CHRISTIANS WILL NOT HAVE LONG TO MAKE THE CHOICE TO CHOSE WHAT THEY WERE RAISED IN AND THE TRUTH. “MANY FAKES WILL COME & DECEIVE MANY.

    1. I relate the fig tree to Eden when Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves and associate it with the tree of knowledge of good and evil. You gotta ask yourself why they chose fig leaves and why Jesus cursed a fig tree before it was time to bear fruit and why the fig tree cast its untimely figs. When you see the budding of the fig tree (and the other trees) look up cause the fig tree (and the other trees) will not bear fruit again before Christ’s return
In the backward walk Jesus goes back into Eden at the last supper so it very well may parallel with your end time understanding.

    1. Can’t give you a definitive answer, but something to ponder.

In Hebrew, the word for sin is chattah – which means miss (also used of offence)
In Greek the word for sin is hamartia (also used of offence) which also carries the idea of missing the mark (and so not share in the prize)

And the Biblical teaching is that if anyone sins, it is against God.

Even David with his adultery and murder confessed –

Psalm 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

In fact, read the whole of Psalm 51 as David describes what is in his heart about sin.

So my two-pennyworth is, that sin is missing the mark, falling short of God’s holiness.

      Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

This is why man’s righteousness will never be good enough.

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

This is why, without God’s grace and the free gift of the sacrifice of his Son – we cannot make it on our own.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin

So the closest I can get to the biblical definition of sin, is that given in Romans.
